St. David's Rotary Club

Cardiff St. David's Rotary Club

The school has established close links with Cardiff St. David's Rotary Club over recent years. The Rotary Club has been extremely generous with support which has funded a soft play area for Early Years pupils, a range of musical instruments, reading books and equipment for our multi sensory room.
Each summer term Year 6 pupils and their parents enjoy a 'Kid's Out' evening at Barry Island Amusement Park incorporating transport, free rides and a meal for each participant.
Staff, parents, pupils and governors are exceedingly grateful and appreciative of the help received.

Visit to the Rhondda Heritage Park

This year the St David's Rotary club generously invited the children of Oakfield Primary School to Rhondda Heritage Park. The children, parents and teachers thoroughly enjoyed themselves. it was a lovely day out as well as being of great educational value. Even the parents learnt a lot judging by their comments afterwards! Oakfield would like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to all the members of the Rotary Club.
